ELS offers engineering services to modify equipment for the following reasons:— To bring the existing equipment up to current standards — To make the existing equipment more operator friendly — To alter the size and/or capacity of existing equipment Refurbishing EquipmentELS refurbishes used equipment such as bridge cranes, jib cranes, spreader beams, transfer carts and runway steel. Used equipment can be an economical and viable alternative to purchasing new, fitting it for a new work area and extending the service of the material handling equipment. ELS can re-engineer the design; do alterations; re-finishing to the equipment; in order to fit it for a different work place.![]() ![]() ![]() Shot BlastingCleaning of Structural BeamsDescriptionShot blasting is a process that cleans metal surfaces from rust, paint and scale. The process involves feeding the structural member through a machine that fires metal shot against the metal surface in preparation for welding, painting or other finishing.Shot blasting is an effective process to use when used equipment requires modification to be done such as: altering the length of the beam (span of the crane), reconditioning the surface of used runway steel beams, or refurbishing used equipment for further service.
