Mentor Dynamics

Many customers know the Mentor Dynamics' name as a quality supplier of Overhead Material Handling Equipment. Since 1998 Engineered Lifting Systems & Equipment Inc. has been operating as Mentor Dynamics continuing the legacy of being a quality supplier.

New Name - Engineered Lifting Systems & Equipment Inc.

As of January 2008, the company's name was changed to Engineered Lifting Systems & Equipment Inc. from Mentor Dynamics, to better represent what our company does. As a result we have branded the Mentor name to our manufactured products, such as, Overhead Travelling Cranes, Jib Cranes, Gantry Cranes, Monorails, Spreader Beams and Transfer Cars, in addition to custom material handling equipment.

A New Website

Now we have a new domain name www.engliftsystems.com and offer an even broader products collection of overhead material handling equipment to the marketplace.

A New Product Division

A custom tooling division has been added to ELS' offerings. Now you can source Process Arms, Lift Assist Tooling, Manipulators, Torque Reaction Tools and Work Station Arms from ELS. We welcome opportunities to serve you with these innovative and reliable products.

Qualifications

Engineered Lifting Systems & Equipment Inc. (ELS) design solutions are certified by on Staff Professional Engineers to comply with all applicable regulatory codes and established engineering standards for mechanical, electrical and structural elements.

Engineered Lifting Systems & Equipment Inc. (ELS) designs its equipment to rigorous criteria, which includes but is not limited to the following:

- National Building Code of Canada Canadian Electrical Code
- Steel Design Code (CSA S16.1)
- CMAA #74 -Specification for Top Running & Under Running Single Girder Electric Traveling Cranes Utilizing Under Running Hoists
- CMAA #70 -Specification for Top Running Bridge & Gantry Type Multiple Girder Electric Overhead Traveling Cranes
- Occupational Health and Safety Act (O. Reg. 851) for Industrial Establishments
- Welded Steel Construction Code (CWB W59)

Manufacturing & Installations

Manufacturing and installations are performed by trained work staff qualified to the Canadian Welding Bureau CSA Standard W47.1, and by licensed electricians. Specified equipment is inspected by Ontario Hydro (ESA) on completion of manufacturing. ELS warrants its equipment for one year, when shipped, and their work (including installation, construction, repair and start-up), when performed, will meet specifications agreed to in writing, will be of good quality and will be free from defects in material and workmanship.

Employee Work Practices

Employee work practices meet the requirements of the Ontario Health and Safety Act, the government Labour Departments, and regulations for W.H.M.I.S. Also, ELS is insured through the Workers Safety Insurance Board (W.S.I.B.) for manufacturing, construction, millwright and rigging, and by private insurers for; Engineers professional liability, general liability and accident coverage.
