Problem: A city's utility department had a need to lift a pump motor and component parts that required maintenance. Limited space and other obstructions were complicating factors. Previous to the ELS engineered solution, workers used a series of chain falls to manually set up for the lift. Safety issues were the driving force behind the decision to find another way to perform the lift.

Solution: ELS designed two custom lifting beams, one beam to lift the motor, the other to lift a component part. This successful ELS installation has resulted in time savings to the utility department in addition to resolving on-going safety issues.
